Why me?!

To whom it may concern,
However much I do appreciate your support for life, please remember that 9 year old boys, with their 18 year old sister, CAN READ.

9 year old brother:
What is an abortion?

Narrator: 18 year old sister's heart drops and in a freak panic responds

Sister: uhm..well uhm whereeeeeeee do you see that?

Narrator: Sister still in a freak panic prays, Ohhh Jesus WHY ME!?!?

Brother: There (brother points), on that car

Narrator: Sister looks, and sees...

..sister now knows what the next questionable word on the bumper sticker is, 'vasectomy'. Now, less worried about the "A" word blerts

Sister: Whennn you uhm..uh like..uhm..well its when you have a baby in your tummy and you don't want to have a baby, you go to the doctor anddd the doctor will take it out...?

Narrator: Sister, knowing brother better than to think that a vague answer such as that would be acceptable, frantically ponders a rephrasal while waiting for brother's response.

Brother: (with a confused look upon his face) So like..like someone else gets the baby?

Sister's thought: Yes, Jesus does..

Sister: Nooo...like uhm it kills the baby..

Brother: Oh..uhm (brother now feeling as awkward as sister) well what's that other word? Vas... how do you say that?

Narrator: Sister looks up and again prays, JESUS WHY ME?!!?

Sister: Vasectomy. That's what the doctor does so that you can't have babies. The sticker means that you need to go to the doctor and get a vas(sister's voice cracks)ectomy, before you get pregnant.

Brother: "Oh..so.."

Narrator: Sister, prompt to cut brother off

Sister: IDK ASK DAD!!

Moving Back...

So moving out was weird..eh REAL weird.
Seeing my room bare as can be was really strange.

Well now I am back, and so is all my stuff

Three questions:
1. How did all of this stuff fit in my car?
2. Where the heck was all this stuff in my dorm?!

Dorm informal for dormitory
dor·mi·to·ry (dôrm-tôr, -tr)
n. pl. dor·mi·to·ries
1. A (SMALL) room providing sleeping quarters for a number of persons.
3. Where the heck was all this stuff in my room?!
4. Why do I have so much stuff?!

yeah, I know that was four, but I am just flabbergasted that I have so much stuff!!!

and I specifically remember 4 bags of clothes, shoes, stuff being taken to Salvation Army before I left..

5. Where the heck did all of that stuff go?!!?
I guess that's why my room is never clean.

geez...probably should be finding a place for of all this stuff to go, not blogging about it.

show me the money

The average college student spends $900 a year, on alcohol.

The average American spends $898 on coffee, each year.

The average smartphone bill, for one month, is $100.
Over 300 million American's have an iPhone.
That's $300,000,000, a month, and $300,060,000,000, a year.

TOTAL: $300,060,001,798

Every two seconds a child becomes an orphan.

There are currently 163 million orphans in the world.

40,000 at least will die this year,
70% of them will die from malnutrition

$15 will feed an orphan, for a month.

$300,060,001,798/ 12months = $25,005,000,150per month
$25,005,000,150/ $15 = 1,667,000,009 orphans fed

that leaves $150,400,009 to build homes, schools and provide medical care for these children.

Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you.

The Effects of Cartoons

"This is me, Eliza Thornberry part of your average family I've got a dad a mom and...a sister that's Donnie we found him, and Darwin, he found us. About our house, it moves, because we travel all over the world You see my dad holds his nature show and my mom shoots it...."

"This is me, Grace Hankins, part of you average family. I've got a dad, a mom, two brothers and a sister..there is Chaco we found him, and The Smiths, they found us. About our house, it's in Rome, because we moved here from Texas..You see my dad is a pastor and Jesus relocated us..."

Okay, so maybe The Wild Thornberrys hasn't had an exact effect on my life, and maybe I'm not Eliza...but her mom has my dream job.

"...travel all over the would and my mom shoots it"

Making Plans

Thus says the Lord, Your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the Lord your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you by the way you should go". Isaiah 48:17

Funny how He lets your plans "happen", but doesn't let them "happen" the way YOU plan them.

I've always been a "planner" the kind of person that lays in bed at night and plans out their whole next day, minute by minute. I guess high school allows it to be that way for you. You know that every single day you have to wake up by 6:15am to be ready to leave for school by 7:35am to be able to drop off the siblings, and get to first block by 8:05am. You know that to get to work by 5:00pm you have to leave the house by 4:42pm.

I wont be returning to The University of West Georgia next semester. For many reasons, but number one I didn't feel as if that is was The Lord's plan for me.
Maybe because I wasn't growing, maybe because there are people that need me, people that I need, maybe I needed more time to grow with my family.
He might have sent me to fall on my face, to cause me to open my eyes, to show me that I am nothing without Him, that my parents were right all along.
Doesn't matter how many times they told me, I just HAD to find out for myself.
[Note to self: grow up, quit being so stubborn]

I was so excited to get out of Rome, to start my own life and just simply excited with MY plans for MY future, but The Lord quickly showed me that MY plans were not HIS plans.
A man’s heart plans his way, but The Lord directs his steps. Proverbs 16:9
I struggled horribly with school, relationships, and myself over all as an alone, immature, venerable person that thought she was a lot stronger than she found herself to be.

I've applied for an 18 month overseas missionary/ photography program and I should be hearing back from very soon. Once I hear back I will be sure to inform you all!
Pray pray pray!

Merry Christmas
